    Hi Julie,
sure, would be very happy to help use this review anywhere you need to.
I did the course because I was starting a bike-rental shop in the south of France and wanted to be competent and confident at maintaining my fleet of bikes. I found the course, given by Bryan himself excellent. We started with puncture repair, a basic yet often forgotten skill. Then rapidly moved on to more technical aspects of bike maintenance. By the end of the week I was able to completely dis-assemble by bike and put back together with new cables, grease, oil etc. I have used the skills over the past 4 years to maintain my own fleet, and even make repairs for clients.
I found the course comprehensive, professional and enjoyable. I would thoroughly recommend Downland Cycles.
In future I might well come back and do the disc brake course, and perhaps suspension.

To reiterate, thank you again for a thoroughly enjoyable, professional and informative course. I really did enjoy myself and really came away with all I wanted to. The friendliness of the staff, yourself and Brian and the home cooked faire just added to the experience. Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to both Martin and Bryan.
    Thank you again.
    Fond regards

    Hi Bryan,
Just want to say thankyou very much and that i had a great time this week.
You are a very good teacher.
I went back to work this arvo and on my way home tonight I was wishing I had your class to look forward to tomorrow.
I want to jump in the deep end and buy the equipment and start having a play by myself, I’ll be in touch.
    Many thanks Ben

    Hi Julie and Bryan,
Thanks once again for your patience and hospitality, as you know I found the course very hard but I guess nothing worthwhile is without effort. I have learned a lot and will be practicing at home on a cheap wheel to start with. I did take a little ride when I got home and found my bike was flying along – I definitely noticed the new wheels, tyres and cassette, much faster and more responsive. Thanks for your honest advice and for sharing your skills.
    With warm wishes.
