    Dear Bryan and Julie,
Just a brief line to thank Bryan for his expert instruction and for teaching me so much about bike maintenance on the course – and for his patience! The two days’ programme was well balanced and it was very useful to spend the first day stripping and assembling one of your bikes before then having the chance to strip, clean and assemble my own bike on the second day, with helpful guidance and tips from Bryan. Your workshop facilities are excellent.

I now understand my bike much better and feel much more confident about maintaining it myself.
    Kind regards,
    Ian

    Hi Julie,

I came into the shop earlier today to buy some tools having done the 2 day course with Martin over the weekend. Can I just say thank you again to all of you for the course. It completely exceeded my expectations in terms of how much we learnt and having bought the tools today, I now feel ready to maintain my bike throughout the year. Hopefully, I won’t feel quite so ashamed when I bring it in to have any major work done!

    Thanks again
    Mike

I really appreciated the gear set-up training and printed information but all of the course was of equal benefit and I plan to return to do the longer course once I’ve practiced at home all that I have learnt. No problems with accessibility or timetable all of which worked really well. Comfort and facilities at Downlands were great, lots of tea and coffee, great, thanks very much. I stayed at Court Lodge Farmhouse which was great too because I like my own space but the bunk room looks good at Downlands and the others staying on site said it was lovely.
Thanks again – see you soon Madeline.

Lovely location and food really good, Julie is a great cook. Course about right, all came together on final day putting into practice all we had learnt on our bikes, timetable felt about right too. I will come back to do Level 2 next year and look forward to staying in the bunk house again, comfy beds, peaceful location and great company.
Thanks again to Julie, Bryan and Martyn.

    Hi Julie,
Just want to say thankyou for looking after me, I really enjoyed staying over in the bunk beds, it was like being back at school, cosy, comfortable beds, privacy with curtains and lovely food.
I think doing the Level 1 in 5 days is perfect and i now feel I have much better understanding and confidence especially with gearing.
I will definately come back to do the Level 2 and like the idea of frame building as well.
    Thanks again all of you.
    See you soon
    Claire
