6 Day Short Frame Building Course

Frame Building
For those of you wanting to ride something a bit special, something you have made yourself then this is the course for you. Come and learn the skills of frame building at Downland Cycles. Build a bike frame to fit you perfectly. The courses caters for absolute beginners, and no experience of brazing or welding is needed to attend our courses. As long as you are practical and are confident in using hand tools them we will be able to teach you how to build a frame.

Park Tool School 5 Day Bike Maintenance Course


The 5 day bike maintenance course you will teach you the skills necessary to generally maintain your own bike. No experience is needed to take one of these courses, we take you right back to basics and build your skills quickly and rapidly.

Five Day Course

The five day park tool course gives the student the ability to strip a bike down to the frame or buy a frame, prepare it and then build it with the components of their choice.

It gives the student the opportunity to use workshop tools and equipment previously unseen by home mechanics.
